"I will not die an unlived life.
I will not live in fear
of falling or catching fire.
I choose to inhabit my days,
to allow my living to open me,
to make me less afraid,
more accessible,
to loosen my heart
until it becomes a wing,
a torch,a promise.
I choose to risk my significance,
to live so that which came to me as seed
goes to the next as blossom
and that which came to me as blossom,
goes on as fruit."

As we navigate life, we sometimes find ourselves wondering.
Wondering about our goals, our ambitions, who we are… and the point of it all.
It can feel overwhelming… we all go through it.
But maybe, if we were a little more open and honest about these questions,
the world would feel a little less lonely.

“E+Motions” was a 10-day Erasmus+ Youth Exchange focused on youth mental health and well-being. Through Art and Mindfulness, participants explored self-expression and built emotional resilience. The project ended with 6 short films, presented to the local community in Palmela.
This page is dedicated to raising awareness about Mental Health, encouraging reflection, sparking thought, and sharing some of the tools we explored during the project.

As we start our journey back in time, you might already have a few questions waiting in your mind, and that’s perfect.
You might be wondering:
When is E+Motions?
Why is E+Motions?
How much is E+Motions?
We’ll get there.
But, before we do, I would like to start with what I think is the most important question of them all.
We truly experienced so much together as a group.
We meditated.
We painted.
We hiked.
We connected with nature, and were even visited by a magical dragonfly!
As a final outcome of our time together, we created six short films and one documentary. Meaningful pieces that capture our journey, our creativity, and the spirit of the group. These are memories we can return to, sit with, and relive. Right here.

This journey was made possible through the collaboration of six different organisations.
A heartfelt thank you to all our partners, and all of their efforts since before our project was approved and implemented.

We also took the time to reflect. To slow down. To be present.
We created space for honest conversations, for silence when needed, and for listening, both to ourselves and to each other.
We allowed vulnerability. We practiced awareness. We built trust. Something we will carry with us long after this experience.
